Windows End of Life - XP-11
Windows 10 Skull End of Life

As we all know versions of Microsoft Windows come and go but has come a long way since its first release. While this sometimes seems like a pain and a money-making exercise we literally have to move with the times. As technology advances quickly so it becomes necessary to improve the software to keep up. This does not leave folk with much of a choice but to keep upgrading their operating systems now and again.

Some diehards will refuse to upgrade from what they see is a perfectly good operating system with many years left on the shelf. Others will jump at the chance to have the latest and fastest OS on the market - boasting they are ahead of the game. That is fair enough, though it is basically each to their own at the end of the day.

So how do we know when an operating system is coming to the end of its saleable life and then end of life for updates? The only reliable way is to find out from the software authors themselves... in this case Microsoft. However, while some will find this easy to search for others may not. A few good technicians have posted information in various places around the Internet so it is quite easy in a sense to find it relatively quickly via a simple online search. Just for anyone who is curious I have published on this page three tables with the information anyone might require from the publishing date of Windows XP to present day and the details of the life expectation of Windows 10 and early information of Windows 11.
